Black Walnut Short

Description

Our 4/4 (1″ thick) Black Walnut is available in shorter lengths for a discounted price! Stocked in lengths from 2ft through 6ft, we have two grades available: Prime-Short and Character grade. Please scroll through the photos in the gallery above to see what to expect for each grade.

Prime-Short = mostly clear of knots and any defects, consistently dark heartwood colour with smaller sapwood content. Perfectly suited for furniture or cabinetry projects where long stock lengths are not required.

Character grade = excellent for use in rustic projects where knots or character is acceptable or desirable, or can be used for smaller sized parts where working around knots or defects is possible. Also a good choice for rustic wall paneling or flooring.
